This is an introductory course on how the inherited privilege particular demographics (EuroAmerican, Able-bodied, Cisgendered, Heterosexual, Male) collectively maintain power. To shift this, what awareness and skills are needed to communicate across and within categories of "difference" in health, human and legal practice? How can we create the conditions for listening across social locations of power? What does the language of responsibility and transformative action look like in our professions? What does "being an ally" look like?
